Born in 1916 in Renazzo, a small village in the province of Ferrara, Lamborghini demonstrated an early aptitude for mechanics and engineering. After serving in World War II, he returned to Italy and founded Lamborghini Trattori in 1948, capitalizing on Italy's post-war agricultural boom. By the late 1950s, Lamborghini had become one of Italy's most successful industrialists, with his tractor company thriving and additional ventures in heating and air conditioning systems adding to his wealth.
