Mitsuoka M55 Looks Like Dodge Challenger Based On a Honda Civic

Mitsuoka Motors, known for crafting cars that blend modern engineering with nostalgic designs, has taken its creativity to a new level with the M55. Introduced as a limited-edition concept last year, this vehicle turns heads with its uncanny resemblance to the Dodge Challenger. However, beneath the vintage-inspired exterior lies a surprising foundation—the Honda Civic Hatchback. The M55 is a car that thrives on contradictions, targeting a niche market that values exclusivity and unique aesthetics. Now, Mitsuoka has revealed the price tag for its bold creation, and it is as attention-grabbing as the car itself. Priced at an impressive 8.08 million Japanese Yen, equivalent to approximately fifty-two thousand United States dollars, the M55 costs nearly double the price of the 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback, which starts at twenty-seven thousand two hundred and fifty dollars. With only one hundred units being produced, the M55 offers rarity and retro charm but at a premium that may surprise some buyers. The M55 retains the mechanical underpinnings of the Civic Hatchback, including its 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine. Producing 180 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, this front-wheel-drive car delivers dependable Honda-grade performance. For enthusiasts, the inclusion of a six-speed manual transmission adds an engaging driving experience, which is often a rarity in modern cars. Despite its retro appearance, the M55 offers the reliability and practicality of one of the market’s most enjoyable mainstream vehicles. Mitsuoka’s focus, however, is clearly on style. The M55 features a bold front grille, boxy headlights, and a muscular rear end that harks back to the muscle cars of the 1970s. The louvers on the slanted rear windshield add an extra layer of retro appeal. Inside, the M55 retains much of the Civic’s modern interior layout, including its digital displays and advanced technology. Mitsuoka branding and unique seat finishes provide subtle yet distinctive touches to the cabin. For its price, the M55 faces stiff competition from genuine muscle cars like the Dodge Challenger, which offers both performance and classic styling for less in many markets. Nevertheless, the M55 is not about raw power—it is about celebrating individuality. Think of it as an affordable, coachbuilt creation that marries Honda’s engineering excellence with Mitsuoka’s unmistakable flair. For the right buyer, this quirky ride offers an irresistible blend of fun, nostalgia, and exclusivity. #mitsuokam55 #dodgechallenger #hondacivic Get More Great Car Videos - Subscribe: https://goo.gl/BSIaFc
