Bizzarrini Giotto Revealed With Naturally Aspirated V12 Engine

The Bizzarrini Giotto supercar, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and his son Fabrizio, is a low-slung vehicle that proudly carries the name of the original company's founder. The car boasts a carbon fiber body and design elements that pay homage to the 5300GT, a model from the 1960s. The most significant difference between the two cars is the placement of the powertrain; while the 5300GT had a front-engine design, the Giotto boasts a rear-mid-engine layout. The Giotto is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine that is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This powertrain is said to be exclusive to the Giotto and is being developed under the supervision of Bizzarrini CTO Chris Porritt, who has a wealth of experience in the automotive industry, having worked for companies such as Aston Martin, Rimac, and Tesla.
