During The ICE at St. Moritz, Zwitserland I filmed this 1967 Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada. This 1967 Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada - chassisIA3*0281 - is one of 72 Strada (road) cars produced. Giotto Bizzarrini was the main engineer of the Ferrari 250 GTO series 1 and II. He designed this car essentially as his series III Ferrari GTO. It featured a front mid -engine rear-wheel design, with the engine placed in front of the front axle, providing perfect weight distribution. The curvaceous aluminum body was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Bertone. The car original colour was "azzurro metallizzato" (metal light blue) with a bordeaux leather interior: the exterior turned to red for a while until its integral and extremely meticulous restoration undertaken between 2016-2019 by Marciano Prototipi in Ponsacco, Pisa Italy. After a 4000+ hour restoration, IA3*0281 was returned to its original blue exterior color, while now sporting a dark blue interior. The vehicle won first in its class and Most Exotic Sports Car at the 2022 San Marino Motor Classic and First in Class in 2023 at The Audrain Concours and The Cavallino Concours in Palm Beach. In 2025, the interior turned to its original bordeaux leather.
