#66 - Yes, this is indeed the very last episode of the whole Bedford truck restoration series, an epic journey which began exactly 5 years ago when this rusting relic of a fire engine rolled up to our door and into our workshop where we undertook the challenge to transform it into the gleaming carriage you see before you today. We bought the truck on eBay at the end of 2020 and had it delivered by an even bigger truck to a huge, old barn-on-a-farm we are renting to use as our workshop whilst we undertake this challenge. Well, several YEARS and a few set backs later, we’re currently in the process of ‘lovingly’ restoring the base vehicle, taking the whole thing apart, piece by rusty piece, so we can make it all new and shiny again, before we embark on the even bigger task of building a home on its back out of nothing more than grit, imagination, sweat, tears and possibly a bit of magic and wishful thinking!
