Après plus d'une heure d'arrêt, suite à un problème mécanique situé sur le train avant, la Porsche 919 Hybrid #2 (Timo Bernhard, Earl Bamber, Brendon Hartley) a repris la piste en 56e position. Tout reste à faire pour combler le retard sur ses concurrentes.
