All-new Honda 0 Series - Next Generation Electric SUV and Saloon | Features Performance Interior Honda has recently unveiled its "0 Series" electric vehicles (EVs), marking a significant step in its electrification strategy. At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas, Honda introduced prototypes of the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV, both slated for production in 2026. The Honda 0 SUV features a distinctive design with a black front panel, pixelated headlights, and an illuminated Honda logo. It includes practical elements like rear cargo fold-down tables. The Saloon model showcases a futuristic cab-forward design with a low-slung wedge shape, offering a sleek and modern appearance. Both vehicles are equipped with Honda's new in-house-developed Asimo operating system, designed to provide ultra-personal optimization and support automated driving. These models are expected to offer a range of approximately 300 miles (about 483 kilometers) on a single charge and will come with Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities, allowing for hands-free driving in certain conditions. Production is planned at Honda's EV Hub in Ohio, with the SUV model anticipated to enter the North American market in the first half of 2026, followed by the Saloon later that year. Honda's 0 Series represents a fresh approach to EV development, emphasizing a "Thin, Light, and Wise" philosophy aimed at enhancing design, performance, and user experience. The company plans to introduce a total of seven 0 Series models globally by 2030, aligning with its goal to achieve carbon neutrality in all products and corporate activities by 2050. Under the hood, both models boast an 85 kWh battery targeting a 300-mile range and support for 155 kW DC fast charging, allowing rapid recharge times. Spacious interiors, adhering to Honda's "Man Maximum, Machine Minimum" philosophy, provide ample legroom and cargo space. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration ensures robust acceleration and exceptional handling, making these vehicles ideal for various driving conditions. The 0 Saloon and 0 SUV will start at around $50,000, positioning them competitively within the mid-size EV market segment.
