This early Porsche 911 was made in the first year of production of the 911 series, it carries the type designation 984. According to Porsche, it was first delivered to its American owner on 20 April, 1965. The Porsche is in original condition with a wonderful patina. Except for a new finish, executed many years ago, the 911 is untouched. The underbody is in good and unwelded condition. The car still has the original Cardan joint drive shaft. Engine and gearbox are matching numbers, the original Solex carburetors, the original air-filter housing and the mechanic Pierburg double fuel pump are also built in. The engine runs smoothly and is dry. The car's interior has a nice patina, seat coverings, wooden wheel, instruments, interior rooftop and carpets are originally preserved and unrestored. The Porsche comes from the estate of John “Otto“ Williamson, deceased in February 2013, who ran a Porsche garage in Venice, California for many years and who was known as an American “Porsche legend“. According to John Williamson, the Porsche was bought as a new car in 1965. Documents show that the car was registered in the name of John Williamson in Oregon until 2008 and as of 2009 in the name of Otto Maddies Mrs in California. About Porsche 984

The Porsche 984 Junior (Also known as the 984) was a 2-door roadster concept from the German automobile manufacturer Porsche, that was in development between 1984 and 1987. It was designed to be a small, affordable and fuel-efficient sports car similar to the Porsche 924, albeit with a lower sales price. It was conceptualized in cooperation with Spanish automaker SEAT, although Porsche eventually pressed forward with development on their own.
