Not your typical drag car!

My very first run down a track! I ran almost 95mph in 7.56 seconds. My younger brother shot this video and as you can tell was proud of his big sis ❤️ My hotrod Beast, a custom 1934 heritage kit Mercedes 500k. Her hood, bumpers and grill are original 1934 parts. We replaced the original headlights with lightweight new ones, and left the horn assembly off to keep our weight down. She's stretched out 18" giving her perfect weight distribution and a sleek straight shot down the track. I learned how to build her last year and have been learning to race her on a 1/8th mile track. Ive never done either before so my starter engine is 350 sbc, 456 gears, 11-1 compression, 9" ford rear end. Her rear frame is a '76 cadillac deville with a '96 caprice front frame. We are in the process of putting a 522 bbc with 13-1 compression and a 325 shot of nitrous. My final engine will be a 598 bbc with 1060HP She has a candy plum over silver paint job with black fenders.
