Elfin 1.49cc diesel from 1950
Another sweet british diesel.In the 1950 the Elfins were very popular in control line planes.Together with the powerful 2,5cc radial, there rule the skys. England make so much different model diesels,and each of them is special.In 1950 still the Olies has to make there debut in to the model planes ,and then there wil be the number one choise together with the ETA's in first class handling and performance. I have 3 Elfins now,one is a replica,but never less a real strong runner.(see my channel) As soon I have time,I wil replace the piston and guidonpin as I was lucky with this run.After turning the engine later by hand,it gets jamed by the moving pin! Puh!!! lucky me... :-) Thanks for watching...much moore great old vintage diesels wil come....stay tuned!
