Mercedes-AMG GT SUV: 1,153 HP vs Porsche's 1,139 #shorts

Mercedes-AMG just pulled the covers off the GT SUV, the first full-size SUV AMG has ever developed in-house. It rides on the same all-electric AMG.EA platform as the new GT 4-Door Coupe, and the top GT 63 SUV lands 14 hp above Porsche's Cayenne Turbo Electric. CONFIRMED (Mercedes-Benz USA): • GT 63 SUV: 1,153 hp peak, 711 hp continuous, 1,475 lb-ft, three axial-flux motors • 0-60 mph in 2.4 s (est., 1-ft rollout; 2.6 s without), 0-124 mph in 6.8 s, 168 mph top speed (limited) • 128-kWh usable 800-V battery, up to 710 kW DC, 10-80% in 12 min • Curb weight 2,695 kg (about 5,940 lb) • GT 55 SUV: 805 hp.
