My DREAM is HERE! First Drive in New FERRARI DAYTONA SP3

This is the Ferrari Daytona SP3, and my first time at the wheel of the Icona Series hypercar from Maranello! With only 599 in the world, this special example is part of the Selected Car Collection in Denmark, who have made this incredible, dream opportunity possible. Come along for the ride! Following from the Monza SP1/SP2, the Daytona SP3 is the second member of Ferrari's Icona line-up, focusing on heritage, historic design, and throwbacks to legendary Ferrari models. In this case, it comes equipped with a 6.5l naturally aspirated V12 making 840hp, a removable targa roof panel over the top of the carbon fibre monocoque, and everything that you want from a limited special series Ferrari model. Interestingly, the Icona Series has created this possibility for Ferrari to simultaneously offer the traditional emotion alongside the latest technology in their portfolio. However, after taking a look around the Silkeborg location of the Selected Car Collection, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a car that I've never previously driven and thanks to the team, the chance to find out what it's about has become possible. While I have seen the car back when it was first introduced, even been to the Atelier in Maranello to spec my dream example, and even had a passenger ride at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but this time it's my turn to hop into the driver's seat and see what it's like. On paper, the Daytona SP3 is everything I love in car, so now it's time to see if it ticks every single box in the way I hope!
