Restoring A Ford Factory Racing Legend - Part 1
This 1973 Ford Capri RS2600 was one of a fleet of six built by the Ford of Germany competition department to contest the European Touring Car Championship. It contested the Spa 24 Hours and Le Mans 24 Hours, and Allan Moffat drove it in Macau. Then it was purchased by Kiwi racer Paul Fahey and has been a resident of New Zealand ever since. Its had a colorful career, and at one time was even powered by a small block Chevy V8! Its currently under restoration. This is the first of a two-part story.
