1979 BMW R65 Walkaround
My 1979 BMW R65 starting from a cold start after sitting a couple of weeks in the garage. I pulled it out and fired it up. The choke is causing the high idle. Once the choke is off, the bike idles at 1050-1100 RPM.

The BMW R65 is a light touring motorcycle introduced by BMW in 1978 to add a mid-size motorcycle to its product line. The original R65, contrary to the views of some commentators, has the same sized frame as the larger R series motorcycles.
