Behind The Wheel: 1980 Chevrolet Citation
1979: A New Model Replaces the Nova WTVJ's Bob Mayer test-drives the all-new 1980 Chevrolet Citation, successor to the Nova, much loved in the 1970s. He finds a car nearly two feet shorter than the Nova with "sporty" styling, a spacious interior and a trunk fit for a Chevy Impala. Also slow to start when cold, prone to stalling and noisy, the Citation handled well with a quiet ride that didn't take bumps too well. This story, digitized from a 1979 3/4" U-matic videotape, has some audio issues.
