http://gvelondon.com We had a one of a kind Porsche 956 race car delivered to GVE London. This Porsche 956 was a sports prototype designed and built to compete under the 1982 group C category. It has an aluminium monocoque chassis, allowing the car to reach the 800kg minimum weight limit. The engine is the same used in the pervious years 936 model designated 935/76. The engine is a twin KKK K26 turbocharged flat 6 configuration with air-cooled barrels and water cooled barrels and water cooled cylinders heads producing approximately 636BHP. It raced at many events including Silverstone in 1983, Le Mans 24 hours 1983/84, Brands Hatch in 1983 and many more. This car has also been restored. As a result, the work carried out on this has accumulated over 3000 hours of labour.
