Stefan Bellof's Porsche 956 on the Nordschleife
On saturday august 10, 2013 Derek Bell drove around the Nordschleife in the Porsche 956 that he and Stefan Bellof drove during the 1983 1000 km of Nürburgring. In that weekend Stefan Bellof set the fastest timed lap during qualifying, he got around the Nordschleife in 6 minutes 11,13 seconds, averaging 202km/h. The next day Bellof went on to set the fastest lap during the race at 6 minutes and 25,91 seconds. A time which to this day is the fastest official lap time of the Nordschleife. This was filmed at the Nordkehre where the car set off on its lap, unfortunately it was doing nowhere near racing speeds. It was followed shortly after by a Porsche 911 of which I have no idea why it was there. :p
