Denza D9 2WD Electric MPV 2025 - Can It Do Genting? | YS Khong Driving

Today, we take the lower specked 2WD version of the Denza D9 to check out the handling as well as performance of this interesting MPV on our favorite mountain. Surprisingly the D9 handles quite impressively despite it being almost 2.6 tons in weight and despite not having the advantage of AWD. The drive is a little surreal due to the lack of an engine roar, and after getting more familiar with the behavior of this humongous MPV we managed to add in some tyre squeals on Part 2 of the climb. Overall I think the Denza did well, and whilst I do not recommend it as a weekend hill climber, it will certainly do well on the climb itself.
