For years my E39 525i has been plagued with a knocking sound that irritates me to my core. I've tried a handful of different repairs with no success, so it's time to give this car an upgrade with this donor engine from an E60 530i. But before it can go in, it needs a good refresh - that all gets taken care of in this video.
