Mitsubishi 380 'Better-Built, Better-Backed' TV Ad Australia (2005)
Mitsubishi Australia was here from the start. Their most well known car was the Magna which changed Australian manufacturing for the good of it. Sadly the Magna is no more, neither is the one in the ad (380). Mitsubishi Australia shut down manufacturing in February, 2008. The Magna and 380 would have main competence against the Falcon, Commodore and Camry, ironically those 3 cars are all manufactured in Australia as well, but their factories are being shut down in the next couple of years.

Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) is a fully owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation of Japan, headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia. The company was established in 1980 and began vehicle manufacturing in that year, having taken over the facilities of Chrysler Australia. Australian production ceased in 2008 and since that time the company has been exclusively a vehicle importer.
