The Corvette Super Sport Story
Zora Arkus-Duntov loved the way the Corvette looked, but he loved fast cars and wanted to turn the Corvette into a real competitor on the track. He convince General Motors to let him build an experimental Corvette, the Super Sport or SS. It debuted at Sebring in 1957, but it need more work to be a contender.
