To be offered exclusively on Bring a Trailer at NO RESERVE Vintique Motors is thrilled to present this 29k-mile 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria LX Station Wagon! The LTD Crown Victoria was Ford's flagship of the LTD model range which was first released in 1980 and ran through 1991. It was offered as a coupe, sedan, and station wagon during its 11-year model run which saw an impressive 1,919,730 produced amongst the three body styles combined. The LTD Crown Victoria saw relatively little changes from launch in 1980 until 1988 when it received a number of updates followed by a final refresh in 1990. It was built on Ford's rear-wheel drive Panther platform which was 18" in length shorter and 1,000 pounds lighter than the previous 1973-1978 LTD Brougham it replaced. 1980-1982 saw three V8 engine options available and in 1983 it was reduced to one; the iconic 5.0L V8 with electronic fuel injection. 1986 saw this fuel injection system updated to the multi-port "Sequential-Fire" system which was distinguishable by its cast-aluminum intake manifold which was rated at 150hp or 160hp with optional dual exhaust. A C4 3-speed automatic was standard until 1982 when the 4-speed automatic with overdrive became standard. Documented via a Deluxe Marti Report, the clean no stories Carfax, as well as the original Pennsylvania title, this 1991 model was built on 9/13/1990 and sold new at Stan Miller Ford Lincoln Mercury in State College, Pennsylvania on 2/12/1991 and was delivered with 206 miles. It was sold to Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home in Altoona, Pennsylvania as a courtesy vehicle where it remained owned by the funeral home for 31 years until 8/22/2022 amassing just 28,928 miles which is documented via the multiple Carfax entries and the original PA title. It is finished in its original color presentation of Light Titanium Metallic with clearcoat over a Currant Red interior with cloth seating complete with a black vinyl top. Reputably sourced Ford production volume indicates just 8,000 LTD Crown Victoria station wagons were produced in the final 1991 model year in which per the Deluxe Marti report just 73 were finished in this color combination. This example is finished in the top-of-the-line LX trim level and equipped with a litany of options including power windows, power locks, power driver seat, power antenna, cruise control, air conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette stereo radio, tilt steering column, leather wrapped sport steering wheel, dual rear facing seats, dual exhaust, HD trailering package, and HD handling suspension. At an unknown point in the past, the exhaust was replaced removing the dual exhaust pipes in exchange for a single exhaust pipe. Today, this 1 of 73 example is being offered with 29,029 original documented miles stemming from singular 31-year ownership up until 8/22/2022. The original owning funeral home was fastidious with maintenance in keeping it top operational condition as a courtesy vehicle for its guests and now it can be yours being offered without reserve exclusively on Bring a Trailer. Opportunities like this rarely present themselves so do not miss out on this one!
