The story of Citroen's first rotary-powered car, the M35, with some Tissier-bodied DS action too!
In the 1960s Citroën teamed up with NSU to create Comotor, and it was this collaboration that led to the GS Birotor. But before this ultra-rare special GS came the M35, a series of prototypes that were run by members of the public to get their thoughts on whether or not Citroën was on the right lines. As the separate video on this channel shows, the whole rotary project ended in disaster for Citroën, but the M35 is where it all started, and this is its story.
