How Tata makes CNG cars in Pune: Plant visit and production process | TOI Auto
Tata Motors has multiple plants spread across India and we had a chance to visit the one in Pune. This plant is tasked with producing Altroz and Punch iCNG models. The visit also gave us a chance to see the twin-cylinder technology being employed in the new Tata cars. It uses two slimmer CNG tanks that have the same volume as a single large tank but can be laid on the floor and as a result, consume much less space. This frees up more areas for owners to keep their belongings in the boot. The plant in Pune has a press shop, weld shop, paint shop and even its own CNG fuelling station. As a result, Tata Motors is able to produce the vehicles entirely at this facility and not be dependent on any outside sources. #TataMotors #plantvisit #iCNG #CNG Visit our website for all the latest news: https://auto.timesofindia.com/ Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu_6jnF3y4drawXmySsapmA Follow us on social media: TOI Auto on Twitter: https://twitter.com/TOIAuto TOI Auto on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TOIAuto TOI Auto on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/timesofindia.auto/
