The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE is out to offer the best of both worlds, with the all-new model the combined successor to the previous-generation C-Class and E-Class two-doors. As such, it has the BMW 4 Series firmly in its sights, with the Audi A5 having exclusively morphed into a sedan and wagon for its new generation. So, what does the CLE have to offer buyers of premium sports cars? Well, there's the obvious option between coupe and convertible body-styles, with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol cylinder engine available in 150kW/320Nm CLE200 and 190kW/400Nm CLE300 4Matic guises from launch. Its 48V mild hybrid system includes an integrated starter-generator that adds 17kW/205Nm in bursts. In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Stephen Ottley puts the new CLE300 through its paces at its Australian media launch to find out if it's truly the perfect blend. #Mercedes #CLE #Review -- Timecodes: 00:00 Intro 00:52 Pricing and features 02:03 Design 02:35 Practicality 04:28 Under the bonnet 05:15 Efficiency 05:29 Driving 07:21 Safety 07:46 Ownership 08:00 Verdict -- Read Stephen's full review: https://bit.ly/4c7M8fe Check out our Mercedes-Benz CLE hub: https://bit.ly/4dpjisl Find more Coupes: https://bit.ly/3yraBhF Visit our Expert Guide: https://bit.ly/4d7P9O1 -- CarsGuide - Go beyond the test drive Visit our website for News, Reviews, Advice and more: https://www.carsguide.com.au Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/carsguide Like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/carsguide.australia Follow our Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/carsguideaus Follow our TikTok profile: https://www.tiktok.com/@carsguide.com.au Follow our X profile: https://www.x.com/CarsGuide Follow our LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/carsguide-com-au
