This is the Glickenhaus 004S prototype set to be crashed into a wall in the next few days. This is done to gather data for DOT safety regulations when releasing a new car to the market. The Glickenhaus team performs many crash test simulations prior to sending it to a 3rd party lab for independent analysis. Prior to the crash test, I'm detailing the 004S and its per-impregnanted carbon fiber panels to test different polishes and compounds on this unique surface. The goal is to perform a full detail and paint restoration on this test vehicle prior to the release of customer cars later this year. We are trying to avoid a complete detailing disaster now, by practicing interior detailing, wheel polishing, headlight restoration, wet sanding, and applications of paint coatings on the most expensive test panel ever!
