As we approach our 18 month anniversary with our 2001 BMW 740iL E38, we've decided to put together a comprehensive guide for buyers looking to pick up BMW's Ultimate Driving Machine. We'll go over the different models and engines available for the North American market, as well as some of the common problems and troubles with the E38 and what you should look out for.
