Is a totally “stock” look always best? In certain ways, I think so. Despite not knowing a thing about this car when I bought it, I’ve had a few people point out that my recently purchased S3 109 had had an incorrect “Maltese cross” 2a grill fitted at some point in its’ life.. So I took the hints and after sourcing a correct front grill, returned it to a more period correct look 🤌
