http://VintagePowerSport.com The Tyrrell P34 in this video is similar to the one driven by Patrick Depailler. The car has been restored and is maintained by RM Motorsports in Wixom, MI. Even though this car could be an accurate static museum piece, it is MUCH more ...this is a fully functional and competitive car that is being actively raced at vintage racing events. The video was shot on location at the extensive RM Motorsports facility. http://www.rmmotorsports.com The Tyrrell P34 (Project 34) was originally built for the 1976 Formula One season. Tyrrell team mates Jody Scheckter and Patrick Depailler put in a respectable 1976 season with their P34's, with one win and several high place finishes. Goodyear's failure to continually develop the small front tires, eventually made the car uncompetitive.
