Yes, we are being a bit overly dramatic. But we are about to enter a time when good affordable electric cars are being manufactured, but demand far exceeds supply. For example, if you are not on the current Tesla Model 3 list, you wont get one until 2019 at the earliest. And Chevy Bolts are pretty scarce too. There are no other options for an *affordable* electric car with over *200 miles of range* until at least 2019, when the next gen Nissan Leaf hits the market.
