Monterey 2015: 1950 Ferrari 275S/340 America Barchetta

The highly significant Ferrari 275S/340 America; born as one of only two 275S barchettas built, this car had a demanding racing career in Italy through 1957. It was then sold to the United States where it remained in single ownership for over thirty years, before eventually making its way back to Europe, where it has been a frequent sight at such prestigious historic racing events such as the Mille Miglia Storica.
