About This Footage

The Hispano Suiza Carmen, a sleek and futuristic supercar that marks a significant milestone for its esteemed owner, Michael Fux. In this captivating clip, we delve into the story behind Fux's acquisition of the Carmen, the world's first all-electric Hispano Suiza model in the United States.

What makes this footage particularly notable is the opportunity to hear directly from Michael Fux himself. As one of the world's most renowned car collectors, Fux has spent decades amassing a staggering collection of over 100 vehicles. The Carmen, therefore, represents a new chapter in his passion for automotive innovation – and it's an all-electric vehicle at that.

The Hispano Suiza brand itself is steeped in history, dating back to 1904 when Marc Birkigt and Damián Mateu founded the company in Spain. By the 1930s, Hispano-Suiza had established a reputation for producing luxury cars, aircraft engines, trucks, and even military equipment. The Carmen, as an all-electric supercar, is a testament to the brand's continued commitment to innovation.

As Fux shares his thoughts on the Carmen, we gain insight into what makes this particular model so special. For one, it represents a significant departure from traditional internal combustion engines, embracing instead the cutting-edge technology of electric propulsion. This shift towards electrification is a trend that's gaining momentum in the automotive world, and the Carmen serves as an exemplar of Hispano Suiza's willingness to push boundaries.

The clip offers a unique perspective on Fux's approach to collecting cars, too. With over 100 vehicles in his collection, one might assume that he prioritizes rarity or historical significance above all else. However, the Carmen suggests that Fux is equally drawn to the forward-thinking spirit of innovation that defines this particular model.

As we listen to Fux discuss the Carmen's design and features, it becomes clear that this supercar represents more than just a new addition to his collection – it's an embodiment of Hispano Suiza's heritage and its commitment to staying at the forefront of automotive technology. The Carmen's sleek, aerodynamic lines and advanced electric powertrain are a perfect reflection of the brand's values: a fusion of style, performance, and innovation.

Throughout this 8-minute conversation with Michael Fux, we're treated to a fascinating glimpse into the world of high-end car collecting, where passion meets cutting-edge technology. The Hispano Suiza Carmen stands as a testament to the enduring allure of supercars – and the boundless enthusiasm of collectors like Fux who drive their development.

In this captivating clip, we're reminded that even in an era dominated by electric vehicles, there's still room for innovation and excitement on the road. The Hispano Suiza Carmen is more than just a car – it's a symbol of what's possible when tradition meets forward-thinking design.
