2014 Honda Fury, Solved: rough idle 1300rpm and crank No start .
2014 honda fury with 5800 miles. I first had high idle around 1300 to 1500 rpm.. I noticed low coolant in resoviuor top it off and bike still ran high after warmed up. I didn't not know how to bleed it correctly at first. SOLUTION: OPEN radiator cap fill fluid run warm till fan comes on while bike IS in upright position. I SADDLE THE BIKE while bleeding the bike. I watch the coolant drop low then top off. I had a old T-shirt at the key area to catch running coolant. After 4 cycles of cool down and warm up till fan run, then refill after bikes off. I also shook the bike side to side like gas check. to get bubble burped. while the cooled down you will see the coolant level drop at radiator neck. pour slowly to let air out of funnel. Rough idle gone for good. 2nd issue: After parking bike for about a year. I was able to crank the bike but will not statt. then during a try bike started then immediately died. I check fuel from fuel pump fearing it was clogged with old fuel. When starting bike and clicked ON position of red button I can hear bike fuel pump prime and 2 clicks. I was able to feel the fuel run up from fuel pump to I injector. the bike had a power Commander installed. I UNPLUGGED POWER CAMMANDER and replug the original I injector plugs THE BIKE STATTED RIGHT UP. so goes to show check aftermarket installs. bad connector at power Commander injector plugs. bike now idles at 920rpm warmed up. start up at 1240 start up. cold. I hope this helps. ride safe.
