Today On what it’s like it’s engine episode Wednesday we are going to dive in deep on the Ford Y block engine family. Ford offered the Y block from 1954 to 1962 in cars, Production lasted until 1964 in trucks. It’s worth mentioning the Y block was produced in foreign markets until 1980. This Engine family has one block size with 5 different engine displacements 239, 256, 272, 292, 312.
