Visit https://www.leftcoastclassics.com/ to see this 1957 Ford Thunderbird from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California. This is a wonderful, old California car that has enjoyed one long-term ownership for nearly twenty years and is ready for a new appreciative owner. The 3-speed and overdrive along with the power steering and brakes make this rare optioned Thunderbird especially collectible but more importantly, super fun to drive! Originally delivered in Colonial White, this Thunderbird received a thorough and complete consumer-level color change to Ravens black several years ago. While not flawless, it has a brilliant shine to it and presents well, getting plenty of "thumbs-up". The body is straight and the trim appears mostly original with the rear bumper re-chromed at some point. This Thunderbird starts runs and drives beautifully with its recently rebuilt 312ci engine. Many of the ancillary items were rebuilt or replaced recently as well along with its 3-core radiator, water pump, clutch, and more. It has fresh pugs, wires, belts, hoses, and fluids and a newer set of adjustable gas shock absorbers. The dual exhaust has a nice, subtle growl to it and the car handles with ease making it very enjoyable to drive. The interior is finished in Raven Black and Colonial White. The top stowaway cover behind the seat appears to possibly be original as does much of the interior trim and finish. The carpeting looks to have been replaced at some point and the dash was recovered also. Overall it's nice inside and very comfortable. It has a nice set of original steel wheels wrapped in Michelin P205/75 R14 radials with plenty of tread and a clean set of hubcaps. The matching original hardtop was repainted yet otherwise original though comes with a new rubber base seal. The removable cloth soft top is in excellent shape and fits nicely as does the vinyl tonneau cover. Under the car is all original with solid floors and frame. Overall this is an attractive, nice looking car. It has a nifty custom drink holder that slides in and out of the ashtray area. The trunk floors are solid and rust-free and upgraded to full carpeting. It is nicely insulated and has what appears to be the original bias-ply spare and a jack. This California 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale in Raven Black came equipped with the 312 cubic inch V8, 4-barrel carburetor, 3-Speed manual transmission with overdrive, power steering, and power brakes. It has been with the same owner for nearly 20 years and has around 100 miles on a fully rebuilt motor.
