Navistar International 4300 DT466 cold start at -15ºC (4º F)
2006ish Penske 26' Box truck with 81000 on a Navistar DT466 starting cold at at 4ºF (-15ºC). Glow-plugs are on from the time the annoying noise starts, which is related to the brakes I think (any other ideas...no air on this thing..all hydraulic). Nice start and a smooth runner once started, especially for the temperature! No chugging or whining; it was smoke initially but then just water vapor that was white but looks dark in the vid.
