In this video we are unveiling the world-class restoration of our 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 ‘Alloy’. Chassis 10025 was the ninth of only 16 alloy-bodied examples ever produced and this was the only alloy four-cam finished in the incredibly attractive Celeste over a Blu leather interior with cloth seat inserts. Over the past three years it has been in restoration with some of the world’s finest artisans. The bodywork was entrusted to Brandoli Egidio Srl, whose founder started his career working for Scaglietti in the 1960s. We have restored a number of cars with Brandoli over the years, including our 250 GTO, chassis 3589 GT. For the paintwork, we wanted to ensure the car was painted in the exact same process as it would have been in 1967 with a non-lacquered paint finish, with this work being carried out by Restauto who are specialists in this technique. The mechanical components were overhauled by Sport Auto in Modena who have been working on Ferraris for over six decades. The interior work was carried out by another artisan, Interni Auto Maieli, who retrimmed the seats in the period correct VM 3015 leather with cloth inserts. Upon completion of the restoration it was tested in the Modena hills, driving on some of the same roads that Ferrari would have used in period for their road tests.
