2015 BMW R1200R cold start issue
After having a battery replaced by my dealer the bike exhibited an unusual start issue. If the bike sat for 3-5 days or longer the bike would not fire up on the first start. The engine would crank, but not turn over. Whether the starter was engaged for 3 seconds or 13 seconds it would not start. On the second start the bike start with no problems. This would occur most of the time. If the bike was routinely ridden these symptoms do not appear. The bike is currently being examined by my dealer in conjunction with Germany to solve the problem. Other riders and dealers have taken notice. I enjoy riding the bike a lot and I'm hoping there is a fix. Please advise your dealer if your bike is having this same issue, or add me to your channels and email me if you have solved this problem. Thanks!!
