10193 Km | PRICETAG 2018: € 182.500,- We are pleased to present this 1957 Facel Vega Typhoon, also known as the FVS Facel Vega Sport Saloon. This particular `57 car was supplied to its first owner in 1958 by the well-known New York importer Max Hoffman. The car we have here is a very special FV4: the Typhoon, with the biggest and most powerful engine available in the FVS and a panoramic front window. It has the Chrysler HEMI V8 383, 6.3 liter producing 330 Hp. Of the 67 FV4`s produced only 26 were fitted with the powerful HEMI TY6 engine, Chrysler Torqueflite automatic transmission and power steering. The car has been in Holland for the last 30 years, the last owner bought the car in 2002 and commissioned a full body-off restoration. A renowned Dutch restoration specialist rebuilt the engine, gearbox, every Jaeger instrument and the drum brakes. During this, no expenses spared process, several invisible updates were added that have increased the comfort level. These updates include an improved ventilation/ blower front window for the front window and an electronic fuel pump. Since then the car has only travelled some 10,193 miles. The car has retained its matching numbers, original TY6 engine and has been finished in a very catching combination of her original colour scheme of ‘Graphite Grey” with a red leather trim.
