I enjoyed filming this fabulous 1965 Bizzarrini Grifo 5300 GT in the racing version and belonging to the Dutch DHG Racing team (https://dhgracing.nl). At the wheel, the fast driver Oliver Hart. I have to thank Mr David Hart, owner of the racing team and himself an excellent pilot with an important past in the world of racing; all his staff was very kind, allowing me to install an action-cam inside the cockpit. We are at the Misano circuit during the test days organized by Kateyama. The Grifo 5300 GT is a creation of Eng. Giotto Bizzarrini and is a superb representative of the 1960s racing car. Powered by the big 5.3-litre Chevrolet V8 engine, it mounts a special manifold for the four Weber 45 DCOE carburettors and develops about 400hp. The car reaches a maximum speed of over 280Km/h. It's all quite impressive, we're talking about a Gran Turismo with 55 years on its shoulders! Development continues to make the car extremely competitive, ready to face the championships dedicated to historic cars where the DHG Racing team intends to use it. Enjoy! 😉
Ho avuto il piacere di filmare questa favolosa Bizzarrini Grifo 5300 GT del 1965 in versione corsa ed appartente al team olandese DHG Racing (https://dhgracing.nl). Al volante il veloce pilota pilota Oliver Hart. Devo ringraziare il signor David Hart, proprietario della squadra corse ed egli stesso ottimo pilota con un passato importante nel mondo delle competizioni; tutto il suo staff è stato molto gentile nei miei confronti permettendomi di installare una action-cam all'interno dell'abitacolo. Ci troviamo sul circuito di Misano dove la vettura è scesa in pista per compiere dei test durante le giornate organizzate da Kateyama. La Grifo 5300 GT è una creazione dell'ing. Giotto Bizzarrini ed è una splendida rappresentante delle vettura da corsa anni 60. Mossa dal grosso V8 americano da 5.3-Litri prodotto dalla Chevrolet, monta uno speciale collettore per i quattro carburatori Weber 45 DCOE. La potenza del propulsore è di 400cv e la vettura supera i 280Km/h di velocità massima. Tutto abbastanza impressionante se pensate che stiamo parlando di una gran turismo con 55 anni sulle spalle! Attualmente continua lo sviluppo per rendere l'auto estremamente competitiva, pronta per affrontare i campionati dedicati alle vetture storiche dove il team DHG Racing ha intenzione di utilizzarla.
