Here is one of the most prominent 1971 Mustangs built. Special Purpose Vehicle ordered and sold to Ford of Canada to be their Dealership Tour 'Show' car for the 1971 Model Year. Highest optioned 1971 Mustang built with 16 including: 429SCJ Drag Pack and 4.11 Detroit Lockers. First Mustang ever to be built with 429SCJ and 4.11 gears. About Ford Mustang II

The second-generation Ford Mustang, marketed as the Ford Mustang II, is a pony car which was manufactured and marketed by Ford from 1973 until 1978, featuring a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout with four passenger seating in two-door coupé and three-door hatchback body styles. Introduced in September 1973 for the 1974 model year, the Mustang II arrived roughly at the same time as the oil embargo of 1973 and subsequent fuel shortages.
