The 2010s was the decade of the hybrid hypercar and the beginning of the electric disruption. The Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1, and Ferrari LaFerrari — the "Holy Trinity" — proved that electrification could enhance rather than diminish the driving experience. Meanwhile, Tesla went from a niche curiosity to the most valuable car company on Earth, and the automotive establishment scrambled to respond. On YouTube, car content exploded — Doug DeMuro, Petrolicious, and countless other creators built audiences in the millions, while dashcam and drone footage gave viewers perspectives that had never been possible before. The sheer volume of automotive content from this decade means the best clips risk being buried beneath an avalanche of mediocrity.
