The 2020s marks the electric revolution in full force. Rimac's Nevera became the fastest-accelerating production car ever made, Porsche's Taycan proved that an electric car could feel like a proper sports car, and legacy manufacturers from BMW to Lotus announced the end of internal combustion. The car world is in the midst of its biggest transformation since the invention of the automobile itself. At the same time, a new wave of restomods and continuation cars — like the Singer 911 and Eagle E-Type — reflects a deep nostalgia for the analogue driving experience. Content from this decade captures an industry at a crossroads, where the exhaust note is becoming a relic and the future sounds very different.
