Ford Escape scary dumb timing chain design! WATCH BEFORE PULLING HARMONIC BALANCER! It's not keyed!

2009 Ford Escape 2.5L 4cylinder. You need to be careful before pulling the harmonic balancer! It is NOT keyed to the crankshaft. It has the crankshaft position sensor trigger wheel on it. If you do not put back in exactly the right place the ignition timing will be off! Not only this but the crankshaft timing chain sprocket is ALSO NOT keyed to the crankshaft. It is held in place by friction from the harmonic! With the harmonic off it will spin on the crankshaft. This means if you try to turn the engine over with just the bolt you will rotate the crankshaft, the pistons will go up and down, but the timing chain WILL NOT MOVE! This will change your mechanical timing between your camshafts (valves) and your cranksahft (pistons)! If you remove the harmonic balancer and you're not careful... not only will you mess up the ignition timing but you will also DAMAGE YOUR ENGINE!
