The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship’s U.S. GEN3 race is debuting at the Portland International Raceway (PIR) on Saturday, June 24. Here are 5 reasons you can’t miss the the race. 1. Formula E is one of the most competitive racing series in motorsport. It’s packed with world-class drivers, and iconic teams, including TAG Heuer Porsche, NEOM McLaren and Avalanche Andretti. The racing is electric, in every sense of the word, from the wheel-to-wheel battles at 200 mph to the incredible overtakes — most races see more than 150 overtakes happen. 2. This race really counts. The drivers are fighting for an FIA World Championship. With only two stops left on the calendar after Portland, and just six points separating the top three drivers, the fight for the podium is going to be fierce.
