The Returning Hero: 1965 Le Mans-winning Ferrari 250 LM returns to Maranello
The undoubted star of our Paris sale is the 1964 Ferrari 250 LM by Scaglietti, a car that was one of Luigi Chinetti’s NART entries for the 1965 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Here you can see the car returning to Maranello for the first time in 54 years having been donated to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. Now, the car is back in Europe and has been welcomed as a returning hero by the Ferrari Factory in readiness for the upcoming auction.
