The Price of the New Generation Toyota Corolla HEV 2026 in China Has Been Announced.

FAW Toyota recently launched the all-new Corolla Hybrid. The official sales price is set at 126,800-149,800 yuan, while the factory price is 99,000-118,000 yuan. In terms of design, the most noticeable change is the increase in body dimensions. The new car's length, width, and height are 4710/1780/1435 mm respectively, while the wheelbase has increased by 50 mm to 2750 mm; this figure is the same as the wheelbase of the FAW Toyota Avalon. The extended wheelbase allows for a more spacious rear passenger compartment, significantly increasing the comfort of this classic family sedan. In terms of exterior design, it adopts Toyota's latest design language. The changes, especially at the front, are noteworthy. C-shaped headlights and a smaller air intake offer a design style closer to Toyota's new energy vehicles. The front fog lights have been moved forward, and two newly designed alloy wheel options are available. While the overall shape of the rear remains largely unchanged, the chrome strip connecting the taillights has been changed to red, creating a seamless taillight design visual effect. The interior design features a more minimalist style with a two-tiered center console including a 12.9-inch floating central control screen and an 8.8-inch integrated full LCD instrument panel, significantly enhancing the car's technological feel. The classic three-spoke steering wheel is retained, maintaining significant consistency with the current model. The new car has a boot capacity of 470 liters, more than enough to meet a family's daily needs. It also features 50W high-power wireless charging for mobile phones, 64-color ambient lighting, and supports Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and other mobile phone connectivity features. In terms of intelligent features, it comes standard with the Toyota Pilot driver assistance system, which includes many functions such as driver fatigue monitoring, lane departure warning, and predictive active driving assistance, providing more comprehensive protection for driving safety. The vehicle continues to offer both hybrid and petrol versions in terms of powertrain. The intelligent hybrid version features a fifth-generation intelligent hybrid system equipped with a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine and a hybrid system. The engine produces a maximum power of 72 kW, while the electric motor (referring to the current model) produces a maximum power of 70 kW and a peak torque of 185 N·m. It is paired with an E-CVT transmission. The battery is a nickel-cobalt-manganese lithium battery. According to official specifications, the intelligent hybrid version can travel 1000 km on a single tank of petrol with a fuel consumption as low as 4.13 liters per 100 km. The petrol version is equipped with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine producing a maximum power of 126 kW. It is expected to be paired with a CVT transmission. Notably, this mid-range refresh sees the discontinuation of the existing 1.2T engine (116 hp) and the 1.5-liter engine (121 hp), resulting in a significant improvement in overall power output.
