Marking its first 4-wheel desert race since the HPD Desert Pilot competed in Class 6 in 2012, Honda returns to desert racing with a custom built unlimited off-road race vehicle powered by Honda Performance Development, the racing arm of American Honda Motor Company, Inc. The Unlimited Ridgeline features a twin-turbocharged Honda HR35TT V6 engine, Albins ST6 sequential transmission, Fox Racing Shocks, Rigid LED Lights, KMC Wheels and Rugged General Grabber tires. The 2015 Baja 1000 will be the maiden voyage for the new vehicle and team led by team owner/driver Jeff Proctor.
