Frazer was certainly a deluxe car...and its price rivaled Cadillac. Cadillac had a V8 and automatic transmission...Frazer did not. Frazer was always destined to be a front engine, rear drive car...on the other hand, Kaiser was to be a front wheel drive car. However, after a couple prototype Kaisers were made, it was clear that that this would be abandoned, and Kaiser would essentially have the same layout as Frazer, front engine, rear drive. The main thing defining the difference between Kaiser and Frazer this year was the quality of the interior..and, of course, price.
