Indy 500: Behind the Scenes with Chevrolet

Behind the Scenes access at the Indy 500 race by Drive615. Massive thank you to Corvette and #teamchevy for the opportunity of a lifetime. The 2022 Indy 500 race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway featured the 2023 Corvette Z06 with Z07 package and a custom 70th anniversary livery. Taking hot laps in the Z06 was so visceral. #corvette #z06 My last video shows us going 163 MPH in the Z06 pace car and the next one shows the pace car inside and out. The C8 Z06 LT6 engine produces 670 hp at 8,400 rpm and 460 lb-ft of torque at at 6,300 rpm. It also comes equipped with double overhead cams, dry-sump lubrication, and a flat-plane crankshaft. It revs to 8,600 RPM.
